Our Motocross Training NC Tracks
Where you train matters. The terrain, the facilities, and the environment all shape how quickly you progress and how much you enjoy the process. That’s why 2020 Racing Academy selects its training venues carefully — choosing locations across North Carolina that give every rider, from first-timers to seasoned competitors, the best possible conditions to learn and improve.
Below are the tracks and facilities we use for motocross training, off-road coaching, adventure riding, and ATV instruction.
NORTH CAROLINA MOTORSPORTS PARK
A Practice, Race and Family Riding Facility for Dirt Bikes Open Year-Round, Seven Days Per Week From 10am To 5pm.
North Carolina Motorsports Park in Henderson is a full-service motorsports complex that gives us access to professional-grade facilities for both road and off-road training.
We use NCMP for sessions that benefit from a more structured track environment, particularly for riders working on race-focused skills, lap consistency, and speed management. The facility is well-maintained and provides a clean, safe setting for intermediate and advanced motocross training NC where riders can push their limits with confidence.
Henderson is roughly an hour from the Triangle area, making NCMP a convenient option for riders based in Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill.
NC BIKE
Located in Garysburg North Carolina, NC Bike consists of a 620-acre site with a two mile bi-directional road course, a two acre vehicle dynamics area, a seven acre dirt facility and 2.5 mile dirt trails.
NC Bike is one of the most impressive riding destinations in the Southeast. Located in Garysburg, North Carolina, this 620-acre complex was purpose-built for high-performance motorcycle and vehicle training.
The site includes a two-mile bi-directional road course, a two-acre vehicle dynamics area, a seven-acre dirt facility, and 2.5 miles of dedicated dirt trails. That range of terrain makes it the ideal environment for almost every type of session we offer — whether you’re a beginner getting comfortable on a dirt bike for the first time, an intermediate rider developing cornering technique, or an advanced rider preparing for race conditions.
The sheer scale of NC Bike means we can tailor each session to what you need without being constrained by track layout. It’s also the venue we use most frequently for military and law enforcement motocross training, where controlled, realistic off-road terrain is essential.
COW BRANCH MX PARK
The facility offers 1.5 mile track that mainly consist of clay and sand. Track is generally open for practice every weekend, weather permitting – practice day rides are $20. Membership is required at a cost of $20 per rider.
Cow Branch MX Park brings traditional motocross track features into our training rotation — jumps, whoops, ruts, and rhythm sections that you simply won’t find on a road course or trail system.
For riders with racing goals, Cow Branch is where technique meets real competition terrain. Sessions here are designed for intermediate to advanced riders who want motocross training NC in conditions that closely replicate what they’ll face at amateur and regional events. Ike uses this venue to work on race craft: reading a track, managing energy over a full moto, and executing technique when fatigue sets in.
BUSCOE BEACH & ATV PARK
Buscoe Beach has campgrounds for tent camping, R/V hook-ups, lakes for swimming and fishing, live bands and DJs, snack shop, AMA tracks, drag races, motorcross tracks, youth tracks, mudpits, mudholes, mudraces, atv ponds, and over 2000 acres to RIDE HARD & GET DIRTY!
Buscoe Beach & ATV Park adds a completely different dimension to our training programme. The sand and soft-terrain environment here is one of the most technically challenging surfaces a rider can face — it demands precise throttle control, correct weight distribution, and a calm approach under pressure.
We use Buscoe for dedicated sand riding clinics, ATV training sessions, and as a complement to trail riding and dual-sport coaching. Riders who master loose terrain at Buscoe invariably come away with better control everywhere else — the skills transfer directly to trail riding, adventure routes, and even motocross tracks with soft or unpredictable sections.
Why We Train at Multiple Locations
No single track covers every skill a well-rounded rider needs. By rotating across these four venues, 2020 Racing Academy ensures that your motocross training in North Carolina reflects the full range of real-world riding conditions. Road surfaces, dirt tracks, sand, trails, jumps, and technical terrain — you’ll encounter it all, coached by an instructor who has ridden and competed on every one of these surfaces.
The venue for your session is chosen based on your current skill level, your goals, and the programme you book. When you get in touch, we’ll recommend the right location for where you are right now.
