World Vet MX 2019 Champion Ike De Jager

2020 Racing Academy is so thrilled and proud to announce that Ike was crowned World Champion in the 70+ class at the World Vet MX 2019 Championship held at Glen Helen Raceway this past weekend.

It was a long journey for Ike and his colleague David Aldridge, who was instrumental in helping Ike reach this goal, but all the hard work and effort paid off big time. A huge thank you to David and all the sponsors including those that contributed to the Go Fund Me. Ike couldn’t have done it without you!! Ike showed us once again that hard work and determination pays off.

  1. CONGRATULATIONS IKE! You are a true legend and an inspiration for all of us older guys who are still riding.
I was going to quit a few years ago when I turned 40, then I met Ike. I walked away from that first conversation with him feeling so hopeful. I looked at a guy almost 30 years older than me, who was happy, healthy, and in better shape than most guys of any age, and said “Why should I stop riding? I’m not ready!”. Keep it up buddy!
